The American team is rebadged ahead of the first round of competition in the Career Ladder's intermediate level.
The Supercup field is once again complete after the SimCraft Racing Management and the GPVWC Administration finalised the deal to rebadge the US-based team into GoSport International.

The new management headed by Danny Asbury, despite being able to save the team from dissolving, was unable to retain the team's titular sponsor, SimCraft, and therefore opted for a new name in order to remain in the sport.

"This is the third deal to rebadge teams in the Supercup between the 2015 and 2016 seasons alone," said GPVWC Administrator Will Ponissi. "While this ensures historical teams get a second lease of life, we need to ensure it does not happen to the detriment of teams making their way up the Career Ladder."

It is understood the GPVWC Management will publish rules against such occurrences to apply to the future.

"We value the Career Ladder as the way to bring teams from their Formula Challenge debut to Superleague success and we intend to give deserving outfits the chances they deserve" concluded the statement of the GPVWC Management.
