After BA Racing's second consecutive win last week @ Monza, the team held a big party. The party was held for three reasons, 1: To celebrate the victory, 2: To celebrate that Jason Smith's injuries sustained on the first lap of the race were not serious & 3: To celebrate the teams ascendance to 3rd place in the 2002 Constructors Championship.
"As a team we are extremely pleased to have won again", said Dan Lawrence, "Obviously our focus on the race was seriously diluted after Smith's crash, but it is a tribute to the strength of our guys that we were able to hold it all together during those dark few moments when we thought that his injuries may have been a lot worse."
