An official statement by A-Racing announced:
"After talks (with Red Arrows) we have released Ben Connolly from A-Racing for the last two races of this season, what will happen after these two races hasn't confirmed.
Whether Ben will carry on as A-Racing test driver, or become a full time Championship driver remains to be decided. We will be having more discussion with Ben after the Canadian Grand Prix.
We wish Ben good luck, and we'll see what happens."
