In a dry qualifying session with the clouds building, Mikko Jakonen (Mapes-VO) gained Pole by only 0.084 of a second from Daniel Wilkinson (EIRE). 3rd place went to the Mexican Eric Sosa (Annunziata) only 0.284 off Jakonen.
Rain is expected on race day, and with 10 drivers turning out for Qualifying it should be a good race, especially considering EIRE's recent form.
