Mapes-VO have confirmed today the signing of talented Dutchman Tim Duits as test driver for the 2004 season. Although the contractual side of things have not been confirmed, the team are wasting no time in making the annoucement that he will act as test/reserve driver in the 2004 season.

Matt Maple commented "The team gave Tim his first ever drives in sim-racing, he later joined a very talented team but we are delighted to gain his services in the F1VWC, his input will be very valuable and I know he is one of the most reliable drivers in the paddock. We are very happy for him to join the team and can't wait to get him on the track for the first time."

A press conference is expected to follow after the contract signing.
