Kari Koski, team boss of FinOz, confirmed what was widely rumoured in the F1VWC paddock when he announced that IGP3C 2003 Drivers Champion Steve Elencevski will race for the new GP4 team.

Finoz Racing will be a new team to look out for in the upcoming F1VWC 2004 season.

They won the 2003 IGP3 title (under the name MEGATRON RACING) in style with 4 races still left to run, and Steve Elencevski also won the Driver's title at that very same race weekend.

Team Manager/Driver, Kari Koski, who is already confirmed to drive, will be partnered by none other than Australian Steve Elencevski for the 2004 season. After months of negotiations, Steve has finally agreed to sign on the dotted line and is looking forward to the new season - which he describes as "being a learning year".

"I'm really stoked about being a part of this team and participating in our first GP4 season, which will be a learning year for myself & Kari as we have to get accustomed to the different handling characteristics of GP3 to GP4.....I haven't driven much GP4, so i will be undergoing some serious testing in the coming weeks."

"Our aim for 2004 will be consistent points finishes & hopefully a few podiums."

Kari was obviously very happy after the negotiations with Steve finally ended in good way.

"It's great news for the team, for me and for all but our rivals! Now we can really focus on testing and developing the car, and I think we will be in good shape when season starts early March 2004. I have done some races in GP4, but still need to find some more experience with the game."
