Well its been a bit of a fun week for Team RaceBase I as a reporter can quite categorically say that I have been a fly on the wall at Team RaceBase HQ this week and from what I am about to report I can say they really do like a good time!!

Thursday 30th November

Lunch with the Sponsors turned into a debate over Pamela Andersons Assets and Peter Visscher (the Teams number one driver) was seen to leave the party early and was followed by this reporter to a small place in the Town centre called Madame Suzettes Health Club where the strong smell of a substance floated through the air.

Not to be put off I knocked three times and asked for Joe the Razor, paid him the £50.00 (as it was obviously an exclusive place) sat in the corner and watched as Peter met up with not one but three young ladies all wearing short nighties. Of course there wasn't anything indecent about that as obviously the girls were ready for bed and while waiting for their Ovaltine they were just saying goodnight to Peter before they retired - although the goodnight kiss seemed to go on for a while.

Undaunted I headed back to Sids Café on the A26 where the team was still having lunch with the Sponsors, who by now seemed to be into a wine tasting session together with 12 men dressed in raincoats and sampling their wine from metholated spirit bottles (They must have ran out of glasses!).

I still cant understand why there were 4 naked ladies in the café, it must have been for an advertising campaign as members of the pit crew were taking photos of them whilst they were covering them with an oil of some kind, probably a new kind of engine oil that has a dual purpose.

I listened intently as the men in the raincoats asked Dave Harland to include strippers at the next lunch I thought this was a reasonable request as the café could have done with a new coat of paint and some wallpaper.

Over in the corner of the room Larry Karam was helping out a young lady by rubbing some sort of lotion into her chest, it must have been doing the young girl some good as she kept asking for more and Larry duly assisted (I have always thought that Larry was a good samaritan and will readily help out anyone who is in need). Halfway through the proceedings some team fans with blue uniforms came and gate crashed the private party these fans must have been really dedicated as they asked for everybody's autographs (strange that they should want addresses as well though).

The team were really keen to go to another party with these fans who even brought a minibus to take them to it, anyway off we all went to the 'other party' (one of the girls didn't really want to go as she was crying but the big fan in the blue suit insisted that she did.)

We spent all night at this party at first it was ok but got a bit boring after a while and when the fans insisted on us spending the night, we did but I have to report that the rooms left a little to be desired and they must have had enough of us by 5am as they asked us to leave - and a big big man (strange how they all wore the same kind of blue suits) with three stripes on his jacket made us sign a paper to say that we would go to another place a couple of weeks later called a hearing.

We all left the party and headed home after quite an interesting night.
