Team boss Andy Graydon was seen at the wheel of a new shaped Phoenix F1 - what appears to be their 2004 contender, as the team conducted systems checks prior to soon to commence pre-season testing.

The Phoenix F1 team were at a wet Silverstone today as team boss Andy Graydon drove several installation laps of what appears to be the teams 2004 car - the PF1-02.

The car appears to have much lower bodywork than the teams 2003 contender, and the front wing element is a marked difference to their previous design.

The teams new car again appeared in an all black livery, although sponsor logos could be seen adorning the bodywork, together with the "PF1-02" identifiable on the sidepods.

Team Boss Andy Graydon was not available for comment, but the car ran glitch free for 5 laps before the shutters were closed in the pit garage.
