Matt Hunt is taking on 2 days of testing at Monza this week, that is (of course) if he can leave the Italian ladies alone for at least 5 minutes to get in the car and drive!!!

"Well the session went well and we was able to try new components and run a few system checks but my main focus for the day was to see just what levels of grip the tyres could give out under different loads & stresses. And I have to hand it to Michelin they have done a fantastic job over the winter and produced a completely new soft & hard compound for both the dry and full wet weather tyre.

Honda has also put together a new lightweight engine to which I will be running over a full race distance on Friday as well as trying out a new steering component that the team are having shipped over.

All in all I'm happy with the way the testing went and it's great to be able to drive a car without being under any pressure, but there's still a long way to go and lot of bugs that need to be ironed out before the drivers take to the circuit for the first race.

Anyway that's about all I can tell you right now as I'm on my way to a party that Peter was also going to attend, but with so many teams testing along side us he wanted to get an early start. So I guess it's just me & my mechanics entertaining those lovely Italian ladies".

F1VWC News says:- "Matt, calm down, but we agree regarding the Italian Totti (no, not the footballer, who is very good up-front too!)".
