New images of the teams 2004 challenger in test livery, plus comment from team boss Andy Graydon regarding the last two days of testing.

News heaven for team supporters!

Day 2 of Monza testing saw Daniel Wilkinson hit the track and he concentrate on Race fuel and performance. The PF1-02 chassis delivered! 2.2 seconds off the pace of the MMC car of Sleight (clearly scraping the plank and on low fuel) but 4th quickest time of the day. Team Boss Andy Graydon was very impressed with Wilkinsons pace and consistency.

Day 3 then saw Mark Nieuwlaar take to the track on his first runs in the new car. Race set-up again, but with lower fuel runs, the package of engine, tyres and chassis all came together to produce a best of 1m20.946. And this after only 3 days of running!

Team boss Andy Graydon was clearly elated:-

"The new car is running like clockwork. Because of the timing glitch on Day 3, we don't know exactly where we stand - but 3rd quickest at the moment shows how much natural pace the car has got".

Graydon was also pleased to confirm that Adam Fretter, recently signed to fill the second race seat alongside Antonio Irisarri, was OK to race, despite recent rumours to the contrary.

"I think certain team owners were trying to cause unrest in the team, with rumours flying around about Fretter's committment to the race season. I can deny this completely. Adam is liasing with our experienced drivers in order to hone his set-ups, but he's doing this 'behind closed doors'. The same happened with Antonio Irisarri last year, and proved beneficial to his start to the season".
