Mikko Jakonen (Mapes-VO) won the San Marino GP in convincing style from Paul Sleight (MMC Racing) with Shiro Ryong (SCUM) in third place.
Jakonen led until the first pitstop, when his pitcrew had a wheel problem that cost him several seconds. But Scott Whiteman's EIRE suffered engine failure on lap 25 whilst 6 seconds in the lead, and now lies 2nd in the Drivers Championship!
