Chris Connolly, interviewed by the Australian TV, declared:

"Well done Jason Endean on a fantastic win at Monaco and thus the 2000 Drivers Champion!

Most drivers have done a real good job this season, and many have improved greatly over the period. The drivers who haven't done so well, are the one's who keep on failing to finish, oops, I mean even fail to start the race. It really lets the team down, and if you are not going to race, your team manager should be told before the event, so that the test driver, or a replacement driver can compete instead. This is one problem which must be looked at for next season. Any driver who wishes to race in 2001, must know that the year will be much better than this year, and if you are not committed, then don't race. But still, there are many drivers who do compete at all, if it, nearly all grand prix's, and that is good to see.

Well done to you all!"
