Thomas Kimmich, despite the disappointment of losing the Championship, had nice words for his rival Jason Endean.

"First of all, although it's very hard for me, congratulations to Jason Endean.

My greatest wish would be to drive against him online, so we can see who is really the fastest, because I think 3 seconds in Monaco is nothing. Every overlapping (backmarkers) has decided that race.

I am pretty disappointed for not winning the championship but it is like always 'that's racing'. I will have lots of races in the future and I am confident for winning more races.

It was a tough season and I think that if I gained more points at Silverstone I would have won the championship. What has happened has happened, the past is gone, the future is in front and it will bring lots of races with lots of success.

I want to say thanks to all and all their efforts, especially to you Dan.

I think it was a good season.

Merry christmas and a happy new year!"
