Slight delay in completion of this, but better late than never!

Winner - Scott Whiteman (EIRE - Jaguar)

1) An amazing performance here in Indianapolis, willing by a masssive margin! An almost perfect race?

In terms of consistency this race was about as good as i could drive, i pushed hard for the first stint, then brought the car home nice and relaxed, obviously i would have liked to get the qualifying pace out of the car in the race itself but it was just not possible.

2) Mikko's lead is now down to 14 points, with you seemingly gaining points over him every race, surely its only a matter of time before you overtake his points tally?

Well there is still a long way left to go in this season so i'm not going to put money on anything, all i can guarantee is that as long as the car holds together i will be trying to bring it home in first place.

3) What are your expectations ahead of the British GP?

Well i saw the driver lineups for this GP and i noticed that Philip Williams will be piloting the Woods Racing car, Philip is without a doubt one of the best sim-racers in the World, and given equal horsepower i would not stand a chance, however, given that we do have a slight power advantage over Woods it should be an interesting battle, although I'd wager that Williams will probably still come out on top and the usual contenders will be left battling for second.

2nd - Steve Elencevski (FinOz - Ferrari (c))

1) Another podium Steve, you must be very happy?

Indeed, very pleased with P2. I was not expecting to get on the podium here as we didnt get the car working properly for qualifying & the race, so once again we chose to play it safe in regards to set-up where we probably used a bit too much wing, but the final outcome was great.

2) The FinOz package has really come along during the season, and is clearly one of the top 3 cars on the grid and has race winning potential, this must be confidence boosting when racing against such superstars as Jakonen and Whiteman?

Yes our car has certainly come along really well and we are always learning more from race to race. To be challenging the likes of Scott & Mikko at some circuits is very confidence boosting and we weren't really expecting to be battling the top guys at the beginning of the season, so we are doing good job and slowly but surely getting there.

3) Being the only man to beat Whiteman in a straight fight to the finish, can you beat him again at Silverstone?

Silverstone is one of my favourites on the calendar, its such a fun circuit to drive on. Copse, the Maggotts-Becketts-Chapel complex, Stowe, Club & the infield are just fun corners to drive on and they certainly suit my driving style, so we are quite optimistic of a strong weekend. It will be a close fight with Scott, Mikko, Joe & several others, but i'm very much looking forward to it.

3rd - Mikko Jakonen (Mapes-VO - Honda)

1) Another podium for yourself and the Mapes-VO team, how did it go today?

Well I did still manage to get to podium, even though I had only a 1 second margin to being 4th, and I had to really fight for being 3rd. I didn't enjoy the race at all, our setup proved to be very bad in the long run, I had too little downforce to be able to drive competitively today. Some good fights along the way, best part was in the start where I managed to get into 2nd for a while, but as the race progressed it became obvious that I wasn't fighting for victory, as Scott maintained his half a second advantage which he had in qualifying throughout the race.

2) Your championship lead is slowly decreasing with every race, it's going to be tough from here on in isn't it?

Yeah it's going as I feared, the competition is getting way tougher every race and we have to find more ideas to be able beat our competitors. This race wasn't good for the Constructors Championship either, as Matt started from the back and had his huge crash in the first corner. Car was nearly a write-off and Matt had to be checked in the hospital. At the moment it's even uncertain if he can race at Silverstone. I hope our team isn't entering another mid-season slump as last year.

3) Now for the question every one is asking - can your Mapes-VO package defeat Whiteman's EiRE at Silverstone?

Well it's pretty much a home circuit for the team, we know the track and hope to find a good balance to be able to do just that. All I can say that we'll try our best, just have to hope that's enough.
