Disbelief turns to Euphoria in the space of an hour at Simsoa.

After what looked like a possible top 10 finish after the not uncommon 1st lap incident, to a small points finish when both MMCs pulled out to a well deserved 5th and 9th for David and Javier respectively.

Kieran Ryan (who drove for Simsoa at Monaco, where he claimed 2nd) took his first win ever in the passionate Monza grandstands...where the Simsoa crew would be joining him later! David had kept a cool head to keep the car on the track and finished in 5th, more than doubling his previous points tally. Javier had claimed his highest race finish in the F1V of 9th after thinking that his race was all but over with steering problems.

Lawrence was seen on the pit wall cheering David on as he took the line and the team burst into euphoric cheering and celebrations. One reporter managed to catch Lawrence during this moment, "It's just amazing that we could get more points! This was the one track we thought we couldn't even get a top 10 finish let alone points! YES! David's been great during the race, he said that the start of the race and the wet conditions helped him make up time later on - Kieran's happy about it too, we're just off to join him!" Lawrence, David and Javier promptly left to see Kieran after the press conference.

This haul of 4 points takes Simsoa up to 18 points, just 1 point behind JTM and within smelling distance of Woods...could this see Simsoa move onto the podium again before the season's up?
