Who's ya daddy!? Who's ya daddy!?", screamed McConkey after Laaff took the checkers to win the Japanese GP. Not only did Fernando get his first win in the F1VWC, MMC Racing scored their maiden victory! With Sleight taking 7th, the team re-took 5th in the Constructors Championship. Hopefully, BMW will be impressed with the win as well.

McConkey gave his thoughts on the weekend:

"What a great drive by Fernando in my car. He's an amazing driver and I'm glad he's a part of our team. Sleight gave the team 2 points so we have a good lead on SCUM going into the last race of the season. I'm going to be back in the car for Brazil it looks like. Hopefully, I can help the team get some more points. That race may be my last race in F1VWC for some time, possibly for years. I'm at a point in my life where big decisions have to be made and I am about to make that decision which may cause me to have to leave for a few years actually. The teams not really in any jeopardy, so our fans have nothing to worry about. I'll try to have a memorable race in Brazil."

Fernando gave some thoughts:

"I`m really proud to have made my boss Ryan 'McCookie' happy. Especially because he had sacrificed to miss this race. He thought it would be better for the team and so I will dedicate this victory to him, you`re a great manager and teamplayer."

Paul Sleight was unavailable for a comment on his race weekend. It's reported that he was seen leaving the track right away to go to Brazil and possibly mingle with the Brazilan beach babes.

The entire team would like to thank everyone for their nice and warm comments on Fernando's win. We appreciate it!

Back to Brazil, and back to the regular line-up. The team is confident they can hold onto 5th in the Constructors. Either way, the team is very happy with 5 poles and 1 race win during their first complete season of racing.
