Dave Cummings has taken over control of the Puma F1 team from co-owner Dave Harland following his short break.

John Harland is now taking a break from the team to allow David to setup the teams off season testing programme:

David, the team is back in your hands, how do you feel?

"Great happy to have it back in my arms as it were."

Do you think John did a good job as manager?

"Yes, very good, maybe someday soon we will see him owning his own team, or taking over another team in the league."

Are you happy with Juha being signed?

"Very. Very happy yes. He is a really nice guy to get along with and we fell is the Kimi of the league, so we have big hopes of him for 2005, and we are very eager to get him into the car for testing asap."

What about Willy?

"Willy, well he is defo the M.Schumacher of the league, I know people have watched his progress in the Puma and been amazed at his sheer pace, as did I and I signed him up for the 2005 season by the end of his first test for us."

And Andreas/Chris/Marek

"Andreas is staying with the team, as we hope Chris will do as well, we hope to have a much more active role for Chris in 2005, and Marek, well he has disappeared off the planet, so myself and John have discussed letting him go."

What for 2005?

?We are getting all of our drivers together a week after the last race of the season at Silverstone for a post season shakedown to allow them all time to test for the Gold Cup race. We now have a stunning line up for the 2005 season, and with the continued support from Porsche will allow us to mount a massive challenge for the 2005 season, where we will be in the top ten at every race we finish. We are looking into the reliability of the drivers and the team members, to get a 100% finish rate for every grand prix next year, we hope to be up and above the Simsoa team, we are not going to sit back and trundle around at the back of the grid, this time next year I hope to have at least one podium finish to our name. Until then we are testing new parts, setups, and driver confidence."
