With hopes to secure 5th place from SCUM, MMC Racing BMW went into Brazil feeling alittle off the pace. Both drivers struggled with setups but qualified okay in the end.

Ryan McConkey said, "I had extreme problems with setups in the free practice sessions. There was like, no front grip whatsoever, I felt really off the pace. Going into the race I wasn't really confident."

The team went out with a bang, literally, when both cars crashed in the slightly wet conditions on slick tyres.

Ryan added, "It's disappointing to end the season with a double DNF, and my first DNF due to a crash I think. Which is good when ya think about it in the long run I suppose. Either way, we were able to keep 5th place in the constructors and thats all that matters. We came from like 9th last season to 5th, so we're getting there. Hopefully, next season will be better."

Sleight was available for comment for once. He gave thoughts about the first lap where he went off the track, "It was as slippery as a well lubricated p*nis! I was caught out by this, and I unfortunetly spun. Simple as."

He went on to give thoughts about the season, "The season started great with my first pole and almost my first win, sadly performances dipped and despite the odd good showing at Imola and Indy, I'm disappointed overall with my final championship position. However I have got together with one of the MMC pitbabes so it can't be all bad. Also, Laaff is a legend."

MMC Racing end the 2004 season with 5 poles and 1 win. Held 5th in the constructors and Sleight finished 7th in the drivers. All in all not a bad season for the team, but it could have been so much better. MMC is already in the process of thinking about next season and how to perform even better.

The entire team would like to thank everyone in the league for making it a memorable season!
