Upon his team's announcement that Larry Karam has been confirmed as a driver for the 2001 season, the Canadian ace has expressed all his gratitude towards the Racebase team.

"I'm very happy that MasterCard Team RaceBase re-signed me for the 2001 season after a hard 2000 season.

It's an honour for me to race for a team like that. I learned a lot from last season and I'm ready to give everything I have to try to take the Drivers Title.

With our 2001 car we hope to be competitive and be closer to the pole position. I have no doubt that every member of the team is doing his best to win a championship and we all look forward to the 2001 season."
