CVRT were very pleased after their number one driver - Christian Neumann qualified on the 2nd row of the grid for the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Chris Connolly said, "I am very pleased with 3rd on the grid, and it is a very good position to be in for the race. Neumann had said that the car was working quite well, and I believe that he will be fighting up front for a possible 2nd straight victory. But I will be pleased with any position near the top of the results. With the hot talents of Poleman Ton Hoek, Dan Pyrik, Scott Smith, new improved Jonas Lindberg, Jason Smith, and DPI fill-in Richard Dickson, I know this race is going to be difficult. There may also be a few others who can take the challenge up to the big guns."

"In practise, we were working on setting the car up for the race distance, and this was very hard, especially trying to find a setup which was quick, well balanced, and which suited the horrible bumps along the main straight which are very good at wearing out the car's plank quickly. We will be using the Pre-race warmup session to further finalise setup changes, and hope for a good result on race day."

"I am a little unhappy with the performance of Darren White this season. I did expect more from him, but he has had a lot of trouble being able to participate."

"CVRT will now have to concentrate their efforts on only Neumanns race car in Brazil."

"On a final note, I would like to congratulate Ton Hoek on his first ever pole position, and good luck to all in the race".
