BA's Neil Robinson had little reason to celebrate Jason Endean's emphatic win in Japan. The New Zealand driver, in fact, sprained his ankle during the celebrations, and now face a possible stop.

"Congratulations to Jason Endean on his fine win in Japan, His performance was incredible. The car was performing to its best ability and all credit goes to the engineers for the work they have put in for this race. Dan Pyrik however wasnt so lucky, his engine died on the parade lap causing him to start from pit lane in spare car. We have found since that the problem was a fuel blockage. As the car wasnt setup correctly for Japan or Dan, he had problems with the car from the word go and so on first lap he retired with a damaged front lower suspension due to far too much load being stressed on it.

Dan has stated his dismay at his misfortune but vows to be back at the next venue fighting fit and ready for action.Congratulations to Richard and Thomas on a fine race".

This was before Endean's freak accident.

During the Teams Celebrating of the win in the Wood Log, Jason Endean Damaged his ankle by falling down a flight of stairs in a drunken stupor. This has put the whole team under concern about the next race, The doctors report stated he has to rest for 2 weeks without going annywhere and keep his ankle elevated.Hopefully he will be able to race comfortably but at present he can do no testing and is looking like a possible missed race.

The Team is helping in any way possible and i personally wish him all the luck in regaining his health. He has stated only his death will stop him from racing. Dan Pyrik has already started Testing to make sure a repeat of Japan doesnt occur, hes already completed 2 full race tests at the track to make sure the car is reliable enough.
