It has been rumoured that Andrew Dickson, ex A-Racing Team Manager is starting a new team.
Rumours are that Dickson has been seen talking to Benson and Hedges and Michelin. The news is that Andrew Dickson will be starting a new team called Hornet F1.
When questioned Andrew said "At this point in time I am not commenting on this situation. At the moment I am concentrating on driving for Racebase. But I'm not denying the rumours about Hornet F1. If the chance to enter the team comes up, then I will or I will also enter the team if Dan decides to extend the league and have more than 22 drivers".
Dan Lawrence, Championship Manager, later responded "There are no immediate plans to raise the number of competitors on the grid & andrew should be reminded that a Team Manager can not be a driver under GPVWC regulations".
