CVRT Manager: Chris Connolly

I am very happy with the final result in Brazil. Everyone at CVRT knew that Neumann was fast and capable for the win, but we weren't too sure after the qualifying results, where Ton Hoek, Richard Dickson and Dan Pyrik were right up their with Neumann who qualified 3rd.

The race went well for him. But before he made his 1st pitstop, a sensor was showing on our computers that something was wrong in the back of the car. When Neumann came in, I decided to have a look myself long with our top engineer, but couldn't see anything, so we sent Neumann on his way.

2 spins from Hoek alowed us in front early, but a couple also from Neumann made the race very close. The track was very slippery along with the horrible bumps, but Neumann handled it quite well, his two spins were a bit rare for him as all though testing and the first two Grand Prix's he was fine.

Well, CVRT's 2nd win in a row with Neumann! I am extremely proud of this new rookie driver, who is really taking the challenge up to the older top guns. Jason Endean I think will most likely be back for San Marino, and we all now how well he does, almost always coming away with a win. It is going to be tough, as their are a number of other drivers who can compete at the very highest level. We are not forgeting Jason and Scott Smith, or Dan Pyrik from BA Racing. I think they can surprise us with some wins this season maybe.

For the San Marino GP, Richard Dickson will be joining Christian Neumann for CVRT's driver line-up for the rest of the season.

Driver 1 : Christian Neumann

My 3rd starting position was good, but I expected more. For the race I was hopeful on beating Dickson, but thought that I couldn't catch Hoek. Finally all went a bit different. I had developed a very good setup before the race and I knew that the hard compound tyres worked pretty good for a long time; so I could make 2 stops without big problems.

My race wasn't perfect, I had two spins which cost me about 20 seconds. Besides that, I was satisfied with my pace. The backmarkers were not a big problem. They were very slow, but I managed to lap them without losing too much time. There were a few scary moments, when I took too much of a risk, but the backmarkers always let me passed.

I was surprised that I had won the race, but I'm feeling great at the moment - 2nd win in a row. I knew that I'm fast and that I can fight for the championship. But it seems that I'm now THE favourite. But I don't want to forget Endean, who has missed the last two races (and beat me in Australia), Hoek (who is very fast) and my new teammate Richard Dickson. Although they are all very strong, I think I have very good chances to win again in Imola. I'm feeling very good at the moment and everyone who wants to beat shall try it...

From now on CVRT can fight for both championships with Richard Dickson as a new driver. I think we will push each other to top performances and it will be an interesting fight for the No.1 in the team (I think I could beat him).
