After a magnificent 2nd win for CVRT in Brazil last weekend, things are looking very promising for the next grand prix this weekend in Imola.

Christian Neumann will be joined by Richard Dickson, who was previously going to be the Germans 2001 teammate until he left the GPVWC after a few problems competing.

Christian Neumann has excelled so far this season with 2 successive wins at Malaysia and Brazil, after a 4th place in Australia after problems in qualifying. In San Marino, Neumann will be out, aiming to take his 3rd win in a row in 2001. To stop him, will be many graet drivers including talents from BA Racing, Roaldo Racing, DL Racing, TBA Racing and maybe another team.

CVRT's efforts can now be concentrated on two drivers from Imola on, as Richard Dickson has not just come back into the GPVWC, but has come back in very good form! He has recently had new equipment fitted to his race cars, and has had very litle practise with the technology but he was still right up there in the results when filling in for Jason Endean at the Malaysian Grand Prix. He then moved to the underpowered DPI team for Brazil, and qualified ahead of Neumann with an absolutely blistering lap time! His race result was also very strong. With these performances already, I believe an improvement will steadily be made throughout the season. Who knows, maybe he will be world champion in 2001?

I look forward to this new partnership in Imola, and I can't wait to see how these two great drivers perform together in the same team. I honestly cannot predict a championship winner at this stage of the season.
