On behalf of all the Staff at the Team RaceBase H.Q. we would like to extend a hearty congratulations to both our drivers Peter Visscher and Larry Karam on bringing both of our cars home in the points at Japan last week.

It is well documented that we are a fledgling team, and are finding our feet in the series we have suffered a few setbacks in the last few races but we are on the way up. We now have team points on the board and each of our drivers has broken their duck in the Drivers Championship.

At the Team party after the race a great time was had by all. Larry Karam led the team Band in a fine rendition of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony on his washboard while Peter Visscher played accompaniment on his mouth organ, Dotty Doris (The Team Physio) gave relaxing massages to all that asked and Team Manager Dave Harland got pie eyed and did his party piece of the Full Monty in the middle of the Pit lane and had to be restrained by Championship Manager Dan (Ecclestone) Lawrence before the circuit security staff had them all arrested for indecency. This of course did not stop the fun, as Murrey and Martin gave us a splendid recital of the love scene from Romeo and Juliet one must wonder if they have missed their vocation, in fact it reduced Louise Goodman to tears as she was heard to remark "That was enough to bring a tear to a glass eye".

(The following will only be understood by british readers!!)

Richard and Judy were to have made an appearance but Judy decided to make a clean Breast of things and collect their award instead.

All in all it was a good bash and all drivers and managers are invited to attend the next one in the event of a one two finish for the Team.
