Approached by local reporters, Leon Chan was full of praise for his team mate:
"I would like to congratulate Marcellus Schmidt on his great performance in Japan, and it is Feilerfuf's first pts. in the season. We've been testing the Ford engine and the more we work on it, the more we improve on it so we should be very competitive towards the end of the season.
We are very confident now to continue gaining points in every race after this weekend. It is in reality our first first race, so we've done very well to get 6pts. in our debut race while everyone else is more experienced and more developed than we are.
Reliability shouldn't be a problem for our engine, we just need to work on the speed of it so that it can match the top teams' pace."
The Feilerfuf team is looking forward to the rest of the season.
