Draig Racing annouced today their full driver line-up for the 2010 season. Team Manager Mike Phillis welcomed all the media who made it to this momentus occasion at an official press conference at the team's headquarters.

Phillis started with talk about his engine deal: "I am delighted we managed to strike a deal with Ferrari for the use of their engine, it took us a few days to iron out the creases, then a few days of itchy bums whilst waiting on Maranello to decide our future. I think not knowing the outcome was the hardest for us, as we had all our top guys working on this bid package."

Phillis then went on to annouce his #1 driver for this year, who will be in the #20 car. "I am very honoured to annouce to you guys, Mr Lee Iden", Phillis sais before opening question time for Iden to reporters.

Asked why he chose to move to Draig Racing, Iden stated: "First of all, I chose Draig Racing because I know the Team Principal well, a trusted friend, advisor, and mentor. Secondly, with Maximum in the darkness over their future, I had to think of my own career also, I got bills to pay like the rest of you!" the British driver said laughing.

Then, asked if he felt Draig had a chance of competing with the likes of Woods Racing & the Champions Nordsjoen Racing, he replied: "Competing, not only do I feel we have a chance of competing with them, I feel that Draig have a chance of suprising them, throughout the season. Notice how hard we worked so far, and that's just the off season: engine deal, sponsorship deals, that shows how dedicated the team are to the cause."

After what seemed to be an endless rapture of applause from the outfit's whole payroll, Phillis then got up on to the stage. "Ok, we all had an inckling of who one of our drivers was, thats was more or less paddock common knowledge" the Welshman stated. "So without further delay, I would like to present to you our second driver, Kieran Spencer!"

As Spencer walked on to the stage cameras were flashing quicker than an electrical storm. Media frenzy then entailed, with all sources wanting to push questions to Spencer.

Asked about his time out from the Superleague, Spencer quoted: "My Sabbatical from the championship has not only helped me recover, but also become a stronger, wiser driver. Having tried my hand at many forms of driving whilst being away, I feel that this time is right for me to return."

"Mike [Phillis] came to me, made me feel like I'm not here to prove anything, but to go out and enjoy the racing once again, something I felt I had forgotten. No doubt it will be different from when I was last in the fold, but I'm willing to put myself out and make a name for Spencer and Draig Racing."

When quizzed about his expectations for the season, Spencer added: "I'm just getting used to it again, new faces, new problems, but it's all work, that's the ethic of the team work for each other. We will always go out looking for pole, a win, even a fastest lap, and with our mindset nothing can stop us from trying."

Phillis, Iden & Spencer then posed for team pictures, with the new DR1-1.

With the mystery about drivers now solved, media is now speculating on what else Draig got behind closed doors.
