The GPVWC Administration released the first draft of the calendar for the 2011 GPVWC Superleague. The Championship will feature 20 rounds and will take place between March and November: experience from the first two seasons of rFactor racing surely helped the drawing of the list of tracks, with past favourites returning to the calendar and new entries that will hopefully provide for some seriously entertaining racing.

Compiling the list of races proved to be a difficult task, with plenty of interesting options that brought on some hard choices. Turkey and Portugal, despite making for interesting racing in 2010, are dropped from the calendar - a fate shared by Hungary. Their replacements are the South African Grand Prix at Kyalami, which hosted an entertaining Superleague race in 2009, the French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours and the Austrian Grand Prix at the A1-Ring. In order to bring the number of races to 20, an extra race had to be added and the choice fell on one historical race from the VWC's past, the San Marino Grand Prix in the fantastic scenario of Imola.

Note: the following calendar is a first draft and, while most of it will be retained, it is not a final version. Pre-season and in-season testing venues and dates to be confirmed.
