Constant Racing Mark Stanton declared that announcing the driver pairing for the 2011 season was just a "formality" as he confirmed the lineup of himself and William Ponissi for the forthcoming season. "Test drivers are something we will need to think about soon" the Englishman said "but the drivers we had in 2010 did the job and will stay on." But the bulk of his talk was not about drivers, but engines.

"We are looking at retaining Renault engines for the third year running, although we cannot confirm our interest until the engines costs and specifications are made public". The team, which will sport numbers 7 and 8 in the 2011 season, might also be ready to unveil a new colour scheme. "Our signature white and red might be sidelined" said Stanton, who mentioned an unspecified big main sponsor which recently showed interest in the team.

Elsewhere in the GPVWC World, growing rumours hint at Janne Tanskanen leaving Nordsjoen for Williamson. The World Champion, who has been in Ben Williamson's sight for a while and has competed for WD in other series, is strongly linked to a high-profile move for the Lancaster-based team, which is now back to full strength after transferring some of their operations to Berlin, Germany.
