Blair Disley appeared to the press for the first time since the announcement of Dizzo as GPVWC competitor:
"I'm here to announce that Dizzo have signed a 1 year deal to use Bridgestone Tyres for the 2002 season. Along with this, we have also signed a 1 year deal with BP Fuel.
We will soon be announcing our Engine Manufacturer for the 2002 season, along with a Commercial Manager."
