Deep in the South Wales Valleys, to the west of Cardiff we find ourselves at another Red 5 Racing Press Conference, this time the announcement is for the engine deal that Red 5 have signed.

Team Manger Gavin Thomas takes to the podium to address the waiting throng of Press.'Good Morning all! We have a big announcement to make regarding our engine supplier for the 2012 GPVWC Superleague Season. Many will remember last year, I was ultra critical of the BMW powerplant that we used as Computrac Motorsports - it lacked grunt and certainly there were reliability issues!'

'With that in mind, there was a determination this year to provide a strong package both Aerodynamically and powerplant wise.' continued Thomas.

'It is with great pleasure I announce that we have signed a deal with Ferrari for the 2012 Superleague challenge!' stated the Welsh team manager.

Thomas went on to say: 'I believe we now have the tools at our disposal to achieve our aims this year, with an exceptional team leader in Ben Morgan, myself in the other car, GPVWC Race of Champions Winner William Tringas in reserve and the superb backroom team behind us, I thinkthat we'll be at the sharp end of the grid!' In closing, Thomas was quoted as saying, ' Now the grid will see what we can achieve with a strong package!'

With that the press conference closed, although be assured, this won't be the last words from the Welsh based team!
