After a somewhat successful beginning to the
season in Melbourne, Midnight Motorsport will be hoping to improve further
upon their result of a first and fifth place finish as the team heads to the
Shanghai International Circuit for Round 2 of the GPVWC Superleague season.

Midnight Motorsport Driver Nick Rowland:

"The
season did not kick off the way I had hoped. It was a troublesome race from the
first stint onwards. Issues with refuelling and then a damaged front wing meant
I fell a long way back in the pack. In Shanghai I hope to repeat my qualifying
potential from Melbourne but convert in to a solid race result along with
supporting Lukas and the team."

No. 8
? Midnight Motorsport Driver Lukas Euler:

"After the enormously successful start to
the new season in Melbourne the whole team is really on fire to continue in
that manner. Still we mustn't forget that this was only the first race of a
long season and our opponents are eager to close the gap to us again. So we
cannot allow ourselves to get sloppy or lose focus. We still have to do our job
right and give everything we have.

Personally I am hugely motivated for China,
I have never won there before, so it would be nice to cross it off my list.
Though I don't expect it to be easy in any way. Many things can happen in a
race and therefore I must keep my focus for all 56 laps. I really hope we can
perform even better as a team and that my teammate Nick will have an easier
race than in Australia. As we had some problems there with the car and the pit
stops, which are thankfully resolved now, so of course we are still looking
quite strong for China and after our performance at the Albert Park we have to
aim for the victory here."
