Superleague team Nordsjoen Racing announced that Latvian Supercup driver Andrejs Pestovs will race the number #0 car in tonight's Dutch Grand Prix.

The Italian-Norwegian team has endured a difficult season and currently lies fourth in the standings. After starting the season with Joe Consiglio and Pavel Loknovski at the wheel, the Maltese ace's retirement forced the team to adopt countermeasures. Norwegian Jarl Teien was hired but, despite some very fast showings, had to pull out of the Championships being replaced by Bart de Vos.

However, some technical difficulties for the talented Belgian meant he will be missing the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort, and the team hurried to hire a replacement. With Latvian Pestovs joining the team, Nordsjoen will field an all-Baltic lineup, Pavel Loknovski from Estonia retaining the #2 car he has been driving throughout the season.

With Midnight Motorsport having already clinched the Constructors' Championship, Nordsjoen needs to find some late-season form to see off the challenge of 2011 World Champions Red Archer for P4. A surge of points would see the three-times Champions give a battle to in-form Green Stripes Racing and Lee Morris-orphaned Draig Racing for the all-important second place in the Championship.
