One of the GPVWC's newest Team Managers, Luc Lissens of MaMa Racing, spoke to the GPVWC Press Department earlier today in another rare one2one interview...

What made you decide to compete in the GPVWC for 2002?

I was a driver in the GPVWC in 2001 and I liked it a lot, so when i heard the GPVWC was back it was easy to decide to get return!.

Do you see a long future for MaMa Racing in the GPVWC?

Of course, if we do something we want to do it good so and we don't give up soon. I think we will be in for a very long time.

What strengths do you think MaMa Racing have over other teams?

First of all we will not look what do other teams, we have got our own point of view and targets and we will do everything to achieve them .......but yes there our some good teams in the GPVWC but that also good for us that keep us awake.

What weaknesses do you think MaMa Racing have compared to other teams?

Sorry but at that question i can not answer, that's something that the other teams have to find out.

What are your aims in 2002? as a Driver and Team Manager?

For the 2002 season we will be happy with some podiums and a top 5 position in both championships (Drivers & Constructor) but for 2003 we will go for the title.

Have you spoken to any drivers about driving for MaMa Racing in 2002 yet?

Yes I did, and also in those conversation there where good and bad ones so we got a good point of view of which driver suits our team and which driver would not ........no no i don't give names now :-)

Finally, what are your thoughts about the coming 2002 GPVWC season?

It's gonna be a great season with lot of fun ,and close combats!
