Hawkeye Racing hints that they are targeting to beat Red Archer for third place in 2012 Superleague Constructors' Championship.

At the last round in Brazil, Hawkeye notably struggled with pace with Jamez Shepherd settling for the final step on the podium, 33 seconds behind race winner Dave Carr-Smith. Hawkeye currently stand 6th in the standings with 83 points, just eighteen points behind Red Archer on 101 points.

Hawkeye driver Jamez Shepherd is confident, they can overtake Red Archer in the Championship.

"We've scored six podiums in the last nine races, and are steadily bringing the gap to Red Archer into reach. Realistically, third is ours to lose." Shepherd said.

"Each race we bring our most competitive package, but so do our opposition. In Brazil we really struggled to find any pace and we forced to play the long game. In the final 2 races we should be able to attack more, and enjoy ourselves on track."

He added "Every weekend you have a chance at redemption and we're fortunate to have a car with a number of characteristics that we believe will improve our level of competition over the remaining races."
