CSG Racing is pleased to announce that we have been successful in our attempts to sign Roy Schroten for the forthcoming 2013 Supercup season.

Statement from CSG Racing Team Owner Dave Carr-Smith:

"As a team we enjoyed great success throughout 2012, with both championships within our reach heading into the closing stages of the season. Whilst we may have fallen short on this occasion, we are still immensely proud of the effort that each member of the team has contributed to this season and so it is with great confidence that we hope to continue and improve upon the form we have shown in 2012.

The second car played host to a number of drivers this year, and whilst we were able to ensure that we always scored strongly with each driver that took to the track at the wheel of this car, for 2013 it is our aim to ensure a much more committed, successful campaign for our second entry.

It is therefore with great pleasure that I announce we have secured the services of Roy Schroten for the 2013 season. It is clear that Roy has made significant strides throughout the 2012 season, something that has brought him to the attention of the vast majority of the paddock, we are therefore very proud that he has chosen to join us for 2013 in a move that I hope will see us able to assist him in fulfilling his potential as not only a race winner, but a regular victor and championship contender. "

Statement from CSG Racing Driver Roy Schroten:

"I am really happy to have the opportunity to work with a team such as CSG Racing. It is my hope that I can fight for the championship with this team and secure the first victory of my career next season. I am sure that CSG Racing is the best team to work with as we share the same goals and we will all give everything to be at the top!"

The identity of the team's other driver will be revealed at a later date.
