Green Stripes Racing owner Christoph Lichtenstein presented the team's 2013 GPVWC SL line-up at a press conference held in the teams HQ in Mühlen. After leading the media through the now-filled trophy room he then went on with the presentation.
"Good morning dear Ladies and Gentlemen" started the German. "After our very successfull 2012 Superleague season, it is a pleasure for me to announce that we signed the young rising German talent David Gaspers as our no.1 driver for the 2013 season."
"It will be our target to finish the season in the top 5 of the Constructors' Championship as an awesome season as 2012 is obviously hard to repeat, but when we reach our targets next year it will be an enormous step for our still young and growing team."
"The second seat will be shared between me and Matt Clipp, and occasionally with our new 4th driver Morten Wernersen who drove a very good second half of the 2012 Supercup season. And now I would like to hand the microphone over to David so that he can say a few words to you."
"Hello ladies and gentlemen" began Gaspers. "First of all I would like to thank Christoph to give me the opportunity to join his team. I think for me GSR will be a good team to improve my skills and get some good results like I did in the second half of the FC 2012 season."
