On the eve of the first pre-season test, Superleague newcomers Target Racing confirm their line-up for the 2014 season.

OSLO, NORWAY- After a successful debut season in GPVWC Supercup in 2013, Target Racing will be moving up to the Superleague for 2014. Having undergone a successful shake down of the teams all new TR-01 chassis powered by Trinity engines has landed in Imola ready for the first official test of the season on Jan 23rd, along with new drivers Mindaugas Klumbis, Jordan Weekes and Test/Reserve driver Mark Stanton.

At the wheel for the test will be the teams new Test/Reserve driver Mark Stanton, taking a break from being a team owner Mark has joined Target Racing for 2014 and is excited to get back behind the wheel, he said:

"I hope to help the team with their testing duties throughout the 2014 season, which will be an adjustment for me having been an Owner/Driver, becoming a hired driver with another team for the first time since early 2009"

Also appearing at the test will be the first of the teams new drivers Jordan Weekes who after a season last year that was every engine manufacturers nightmare will be looking for consistent points and a podium or two this season, he said:

"I'm very pleased to be coming back to a brand new season in SL with Target Racing as being in a team that I know that can do a lot of work trying to improve every race is fantastic news for me. This year with new rules will be very interesting as we have limited engines which I know I have to adapt to given my my past experience with trying to save them, but also with the new RnD system making this harder for teams to get the right upgrades. This year with Target I'm just going to have as much fun as possible as I know the car would be struggling to keep up with the midfield pack, but who cares when I'm going to push to my limits and enjoy racing this series all season long with my team mate Mindaugas."

The teams other new driver Mindaugas Klumbis will also be present at the test but was unavailable for comment.
