Malta Force confirm the driver line-up with which they will compete in the 2014 Supercup season, and unveil their new car, the MF14.

Siggiewi, Malta - Malta Force GP are delighted to announce they will be competing in the GPVWC Supercup for the 2014 season, their fourth campaign in the series.

Malta Force GP have been a mainstay in the constantly expanding Supercup championship, and are delighted to remain in the series for a fourth season. The 2011 Constructors champions enjoyed another strong showing last season, finishing out the year with drivers Menno Klont and Patrick Gatewood. Klont joined the series at the Spanish Grand Prix last season with Malta Force, and some impressive and consistent results saw the young Dutchman finish a very strong fourth position in the championship. Patrick Gatewood was one of only two drivers who took part in every 2013 Supercup race last season, ending the season in tenth place with some very consistent results. Not bad for a pair of rookies!

It does not come as a surprise that the team have decided to retain the services of both Menno Klont and Patrick Gatewood as their primary drivers for the 2014 season. Ben Warren will join the team as reserve driver, and will hope his experience from previously competing in Supercup will help push the team to new heights.

Jason Muscat: "First of all, I'm very happy the way both drivers have progressed and improved throughout last season, and I am very glad that both wished to stay with the team. It was a risk last season that the team took to hire two rookie drivers and I think it was all worth it. Now with the addition of veteran driver Ben Warren, we get some good experience in the team to help us continue moving forward, and we hope to get better results this season. Our aim is to be consistent and try to collect points every race."

Menno Klont: "The 2014 Supercup season will be very tough. Finishing in 4th place in the 2013 driver championship doesn't mean it will be easy in 2014. The aim for 2014 is to improve even more and score points in every race, then it will be a good season."

Patrick Gatewood: "I'm really excited for the upcoming 2014 Supercup season and look forward to being with Malta Force again. I came into the league last year being completely uncertain how things would go and was beyond pleased with the results I had. At least I have more experience going into next year, but it is still a question as to what we can accomplish. There are many new drivers coming in to SC who have fairly well known resumes. It will be a really challenging season. I believe we'll need to work a bit harder to achieve our goals.

I also look forward to working with Menno, and Jason again. I was able to make good friends with them last year and felt we worked well as a team. I'm excited to have Ben with us as well to help out. I was able to race against him last year during the first part of the season and know what he brings to the table."

Ben Warren: "I'm very excited and happy to be joining Malta Force as their reserve driver. Malta Force are a team I've always looked upon as a strong outfit, especially after their dominance back in 2011. I know both Menno and Patrick are hungry to build upon the strong results they achieved last season, and if I can help them in any way to achieve their own, and the team's goals, I'll be very happy with that."
