GPVWC announces the creation of a new position to improve the Protests System efficiency.

The GPVWC Administration is happy to announce the appointment of community stalwarts Lewis Redshaw and Petter Kaasa as Disciplinary Committee Directors.

The new positions will act as co-ordinators for the Disciplinary Committee, acting as a vital link between the GPVWC Management and the organism overseeing disciplinary proceedings for all the GPVWC series. The new Directors' responsibilities will include, among others, ensuring all proceedings are dealt with within the prescripted timelines, in accordance with the GPVWC's aim to provide an efficient and timely resolution to all open protests.

These appointments are part of a wider strategy aimed at creating the staffing structures necessary for the organisation to support its continuous growth, as new markets open and new opportunities arise in the future.

Both Lewis and Petter are respected members of the community and have actively contributed to its growth. Lewis, a Superleague driver currently fighting for the title, joined the league in 2010, taking part in the Supercup with Nordsjoen and Malta Force before moving to Superleague with Hawkeye. Petter gravitated around the league since 2011, appearing for Midnight Motorsport before assuming a lead role at Torrent Motorsport and launching his own team, Target Racing.

Lewis and Petter will work alongside existing Management delegate to the Disciplinary Committee Chris Williamson for the remainder of the 2014 season, before taking on the role fully for 2015.
