Armaroli Deltec Racing's team manager Marius van Wyk's new signing repays faith with a podium at Monza

Not only was FC a great success for Deltec, even in OS the 3 Deltec Drivers Talent Program drivers finished in the top 5!

The Spanish driver Francis Cabrera took pole while his teammates Niels Vos, from the Netherlands started 2nd. German veteran Christoph Lichtenstein who's also part of the growing Deltec family, completed a triple top10 qualification by starting 7th.

However in the race the teammates didn't put in a win but Francis and Niels both dropped a position by finishing on a amazing 2nd and 3rd place! German teammate Christoph moved his way up and concluded the top 5 by finishing 5th position, which gave the Deltec drivers a best result in OS so far!

Later that day we saw the most epic FC race of the season with very close racing and lots of over taking! We want to thank all FC teams and drivers for giving such an entertaining show.

For Deltec the celebration continued further in FC after a bad qualification of rising star Stephan Rouault who started p14 because of technical problems with is steering wheel. He still managed to finish the first race on p8. If that wasn't enough he started the 2nd race on p9 but words couldn't describe enough what happened then...Stephane Rouault brought the car home on a incredible 3rd place and gave the team its first ever podium in GPVWC FC!

Stephane's teammate Adam finished a great 21st race after only having time to test for 1.5 hours. He started the first race on position 32 and remains the driver with most overtakes.
Unfortunately while fighting for points bad luck strikes him again and he couldn't finish in the points.

However the team is over the moon with this result and is already focusing on Singapore where you never know what a street circuit can bring....

Comment Team Manager Marius van Wyk:
?We are elated on the performance of Stephane in the FC race! This proves we made the correct choice in hiring him. Stephane drove a great race and left room for his fellow drivers. This shows true sportsmanship and professional attitude..
I am also very happy for our Driver Talent Program. The drivers are quick and their pace showed In the OS race. Niels Vos also confirmed his reserve driver role for Deltec in FC.? We are now looking forward to Singapore.

Comment Stephane Rouault:

'Very happy with this result. It was tough out there, the top 10 was so close! Qualify didn?t go so well, I was very disappointed with p15, but luckily I could turn it around in the races and finish p8 and p3. I always loved to drive on Monza; it's a very fast track with very hard braking. It is a lot of fun to be driving again. Thanks to Marius and Dethan for giving me a seat!
Now it's its time to practice for Singapore, can't wait! '

Thanks for your time to read this item and we wish all teams and drivers a great preparation for the street race in Singapore and again many thanks for the great show on Monza! This proofs Monza should always stay on the calendar! See you all in Singapore!
