February 20, 2002
The Dizzo team reported today that their initial 2002 livery was rejected by GPVWC Administraion. The Australian team stated that they had been told that the car was awful, and that another version would be made ASAP to replace the Livery.

GPVWC Press caught up with Dan Lawrence, League Administrator, and asked about the issue. He had the following to say;

"Yes, I can confirm that the GPVWC Administration rejected the initial livery that Dizzo submitted. This was on the grounds that, in our experienced view, the car was probably graphically suitable for GP1!...basically, it was VERY basic, and looked like it had been hastily made in just a few minutes. I can also confirm that, Max Downforce, has started work on the 2002 Dizzo car livery, but it is not expected to be completed before the teams launch on the 22nd of February. Instead, an interim livery will be launched, which will be replaced by Max Downforce's work at a later date."

Lawrence is known for his criticisms, but it is thought few would doubt his decision of they actually got to see the initial Dizzo livery...which the GPVWC Press have seen and can report....it did not look good!

No other teams have had their initial Liveries rejected.
