Hernj-Roaldo Team launched their 2002 car today before a vast array of journalists. GPVWC Press got exclusive comments from the Team Manager, Roald Reurink, & Number 1 driver, Pedro Daniel Miguel.

We are here live in Barcelona, the HQ of the team.
We are very proud to present the new Hernj-Roaldo car:
The team will use BMW engines, one of the best. BMW has a BHP of 820!
Bridgestone will supply the tyres and shell the fuel.
This is the best package we could get.
Roald Reurink:
"The car is very fast and reliable. I hope to see Pedro in the Top5 all the time, together with his team mate. The 2nd driver is not yet signed, but will be introduced soon. I'm very glad with the BMW engines. They will sure give us some great results. We got several sponsors, main sponsor is West. So far we can find it really good with them. My goals for this season are not much, Top8 for me is good, even with the BMW engines. I really dont care about the place, I just want to make this season. We are in financial troubles, because a big fault by myself".
Pedro Daniel Miquel:
"First I would like to say that I'm very pleased with the chance that was given to me: to make part of the GPVWC League!
The basic aspect that took me to sign with Hernj-Roaldo was the power of the engine. Iīm sure that the BMW engine is one of the best engines of the league. The second reason that took me to sign with Hernj-Roaldo was the good relations between me and the Team's Manager Roald Reurink, which I can also considerer as a friend! Since the first moment that we met, I understood that he was a good professional, very dedicated, and he has a good feature that a Team Manager needs: he has a great vison, he knows exactly what he can take from a driver, and he know how to evaluate the driverīs capacities! Some times he gave me support, he told me how to resolve problems. And this is, of course, a great help for a driver!!!! Thanks Roald! ;)"
"At the moment I canīt say who are the favourite drivers to win the Championship. Everyone is speaking:" Iīm here to have fun, make friends, have a good time..." Yeh, yeh! This is certainly a strategy to put the pressure on the other drivers. In the begining, maybe they could think this way, but when they start to drive against the opponents, they will give everything to beat them... Thats what makes the Sim-Racing so special!"
"Itīs a bit early to speak about the car, we start to test the car some days ago and I think that the first results are being very impressive! Iīm trying to adapt to the car as fast as I can... At the moment, the mainly problem to resolve is the cockpit: this cockpit is completely diferent from the other cockpits of the cars I drove before. I canīt say to much, but this one has some new technological inovations which will give to the drivers conditions to drive faster, and surely to be more competitive! I like the Teamīs Staff, they are working very well, and helping me to improve my performances. We also, are trying to advance our work between drivers and Teamīs Staff (specially with Frank Skinner and Peter Zuiderhoven) to make easier the integration of my team-mate, which will be announced in the next few days! When the time comes you will know whatīs his name! :)"
"Well, as I said before this is my first time in a World League, but this doesn't means that I will be happy to finish the race... I want a bit more... And thanks to the whole team Hernj-Roald I think this will be possible... I will work hard, to make my best in each qualifying and race... And, in the end we will see the results! ;) Finaly I would like to wish good luck to all teams and drivers involved in the GPVWC League: Good Luck to all!!!!... Thanks..."

It is a shame that Roald made a large error in signing staff and more. The team will strugle with money this season.
The new driver will costs again a lot of money Roald said, so we will see what happens. I will help him in every way.
The other chiefs werent available for comment, they were working very hard.
