Daniel Brewer has been signed by MadCape Racing Team for a short-term deal this week. Daniel will be replacing George Sutton for the next 4 rounds in the WTF1 SuperLeague as the team attempts to regain their points scoring form.

"2018 has been a difficult season for our GPVWC division up until now. Our drivers have been competitive in series outside of GPVWC so far this year, however we've been struggling to find our form in SuperLeague. We've reviewed our mistakes and have learned from them. We'll be carrying these learnings through the remaining rounds of this season, looking to improve each step of the way.

Daniel is no stranger to points finishing positions. We're expecting more positive results moving forward from the whole team. Both Tobias and Daniel are capable of strong finishes. It's now a matter of translating our potential on paper into positions on track.

We're slowly regaining our composure from a management perspective as well. It's no secret that we've been lacking in this department within our GPVWC division this year. This has now been rectified, and we're confident we can start building ourselves for an impactful 2019 season over the coming months. We're a championship winning team within the Career Ladder, and it's time our results reflect that." - Xavier De Carvalho, MadCape Team Director

Whilst the car is seemingly around mid-pack in terms of development, and with a few flashes of brilliance in qualifying, MadCape have struggled to finish within the points more than twice this season. The team faces a real threat of relegation if things can't be turned around after the summer break. However, they remain hopeful that Daniel and Tobias can work together to gain valuable points for the team and avoid embarrassment at the end of the season.
