With GPVWC's summer-break coming to its end, Evolution Motorsports announces that Jannick Bock will fill the #18 car of the German outfit for the second part of the season.

Bock who is currently under contract for YTF1 will do one last event for the Supercup squad this Wednesday at the Hungaroring. Regular primary driver Tom Parker has decided to take a step back within the team with real-life troubles hindering the preparation for the remaining races. Parker will remain part of the team, competing in the testsession before the event to finish off the development of this years car and will also stay available for possible reserve drives.

"Obviously Tom's results have not been what they could have, but we backed him all the way as we knew what pace he is capable of and also showed to the paddock at races like China, Spain or Monaco. Ultimately it was his decision to step down with more important matters keeping him away from wanted preparation, which led to a run of disappointing results."

"Jannick has been a friend of the team since numerous years and although he yet lacks experience on rf2 after a longer simracing hiatus, we are confident that he is the perfect fit for the team going forward."

Evolution currently sits P4 in the standings 53 points off Epic Racing and 41 ahead of Hawkeye.
