As shown in The Scrutineer Show, Michael Eyres will not race in Spa for FtF. However, contrary to speculation Michael has not been sacked. He will remain as primary driver in the number 28 for the rest of the season, but cannot attend this race.

This naturally leads to the search for a replacement. FtF's reserve driver Peter Schulze is also unavailble due to vacation, This meant the team had to look elsewhere for a suitable replacement. After some testing with different drivers, it was found the best option was Team Owner, Cameron Rodger.

Rodger is a Formula Challenge Driver with IDOS Motorsport, getting multiple points finishes this season. He has also had a largely successful year over at Formula-SimRacing's PRO Championship. In testing he showed he can take the step for an Emergency Drive in Superleague.

Rodger has some words to say about the news. "Firstly, the speculation of Michael getting sacked was false and he is very much part of this team and we are more than happy to have him aboard, we're working together to get better results as the season comes to a close. As for the race; I am very excited to get a taste of Superleague. As team owner, I want the best for my team and when 2 drivers are unable to drive it can cause issues, However I feel fully prepared for this race as a driver. I will aim for atleast a point which would be a good target in my first race in the top tier. Our battle in the midfield of the constructors championship is very close and I cannot wait to get involved on Thursday evening."

As suggested above, Michael Eyres will return to the cockpit for Monza.
