Having won the drivers and teams titles last year at GPVWC two top drivers are needed to retain those titles - and ACR Zakspeed are confident in their 2018 lineup.

The level of competition in 2018 is fierce with two full divisions and some of the top rFactor 2 drivers in the world taking part. Luckily two of those are in the ACR Zakspeed cars in division 1.

Chris Butcher is showing himself one of the leagues top drivers. Butcher finished 10th in last year's standings with only 5 rounds entered and currently leads the formula challenge standings. Dominating single seater races has become the normal for Chris this year but hard tops is what he is known for in SimRacing and the team is excited to have him star for us.

"I'm delighted to be joining ACR Zakspeed for their title defence this year. I have unfinished business in ITC - I'm looking forward to working with Jack and hopefully repeating what Rudy and the team achieved last year. I feel we have one of the strongest line-ups on the grid this season, but there's some big names on the scene so there's certainly going to be some hard fought battles. I'm excited for the challenge ahead, it should be a great season!"

Working side by side with Chris is one the top hard top sim racers in the world, Jack Keithley. Jack is known throughout the sim racing world across iRacing, RaceRoom and rFactor 2. Multiple titles already to his name having a GPVWC title on his CV.

"It's an honour to drive for the defending champions, with a strong line-up of teammates and to ultimately be racing here, I have always been a fan of the BTCC and to be racing with a mod and race format that matches the real series, it will be fun for sure! can't wait for the season to start!"

Racing starts on the 23rd of August.
