Team boss and driver Jake Sanson was delighted at the team's launch today in Poznan.
"We are excited to present a very different new look for the car. We are celebrating five years of live broadcasting from Downforce UK this September so we wanted a fresh new look for the team's racing cars in the ITC. We want to extend a massive thank you to Lux Peklaj of Lux Liveries, who did a stellar job yet again creating an exciting, bold and sensational new look for our cars.
"We're also thrilled to welcome our new corporate partners Damar International, Sonic Equipment and BGS Technic to our fold, joining the likes of Clapham North and Motorsport.Days LIVE on our virtual race machines."
Sanson will be joined in the team line-up by two drivers who will be on a varied rota due to their underlying racing commitments - Luke Browning, currently second in the 2018 Ginetta Junior Championship and Kieran Vernon, successful racing driver and coach at the Richardson Racing team.
"Both drivers will get on well with the new car, and I'm looking forward to seeing if we can compete at the front end of the grid. I'm sure I personally won't be, but both Luke and Kieran have become very fast new members of the team since the start of the year."
Downforce VR is also set to expand it's race team into other virtual racing platforms this Autumn to create new opportunities for eSports competitors on multiple platforms. Any interested competitors should contact: downforceuk@hotmail.co.uk
