For the opening round of the 2020 GPVWC Formula Challenge Series, Downforce Racing sign exciting rookie duo
Ben Caisley will be joined by the Downforce Scalextric Racing team's official new reserve driver and Junior Saloon Car Championship Scholarship winner Deagen Fairclough, as Sarah Moore will be continuing her preparations for her second year in the W Series.

JSCC's new rising star who'll make his debut in car racing this Spring, Deagen Fairclough was selected as the Downforce Scalextric Racing squad's reserve driver having showed incredible aptitude and a strong development ethic as a racing driver at Croft last weekend.

"Deagen is immediately proving to be a strong discovery and will be strong in the Junior Saloon Car Championship this season as team-mate to last year's Scholarship winner Harry Rice," said Jake Sanson today.

"His training regime in between races is based largely around his sim racing, so we were keen to give him a platform in order to aid his progression to the top of the sport."

Sarah Moore will continue her duties for the team, but due to the intensive media commitments in readiness for W Series season 2 she has elected to permit new signing Fairclough to make his GPVWC debut beside the team's regular driver Ben Caisley, Senior Rotax karting star.

The team will make their return to the Grand Prix Virtual World Championships having spent 2019 in collaboration with GT Omega RPM Esports, who have since elected to move on to alternative categories. The Australian round of the GPVWC Formula Challenge will commence the season on March 4th at 1930 GMT.
