Italian driver Pierluigi Meloni announced his retirement from active racing after a disappointing start of the season.
"I decided to retire from the championship and quit my career at the Feilerfuf - Ford team" declared the Italian, "I have got some reasons I do not want to name, why I made this decision. So, there is a driver seat available now at the Feilerfuf - Ford Team. I will stay in contact with my fellas from the team, but I won't compete in the championship any longer.
I want to say good luck to everybody and have a lot of fun.
I appreciate and admire the work Dan and the other officials do for us, thank you".
